(Training and Reference Materials)
This 73-page comprehensive manual was designed by the staff of the Barry University Juvenile Justice Center in Florida for juvenile defenders, judges, probation officers, state attorneys and mental health providers who interact with children in the delinquency system. It provides imaginative and resourceful community-based disposition options that juvenile defenders can use to try to keep children out of secure confinement. While it lists many Florida resources, juvenile defenders in any state can use it for ideas on crafting creative disposition plans.
